The Murshid Hospital and Healthcare Centre (MH&HCC) was established in 1988 as a not-for-profit project of M/S Darut Tasnif (Pvt) Limited, to serve the underprivileged community of the surrounding area. The Hospital’s facilities are in line with the medical standards offering various specialties.


It is currently functioning with 150+ beds in different units. Services offered include Out-patient services, Intensive Care Units, High Dependency Units, Labour Room Suites, Operating Theatres, Radiology, Ultrasound, CT Scan, Blood Bank, Laboratory, Pharmacy and Accident & Emergency with the surgical facility.
With state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped to perform complex surgeries and a host of other medical amenities, the hospital serves as a lifeline for those in need, ensuring excellence in healthcare.

Emergency

The Emergency (ER) Department serves as the frontline of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre, providing 24-hour emergency medical care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, or life-threatening conditions.

OPD

The Outpatient Department (OPD) of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre serves as the primary point of contact between patients and the hospital’s healthcare services for patients who do not require hospital admission, ensuring accessible and efficient medical consultation.

Hospitalization

The Hospitalization Department, also referred to as the Inpatient Services Department, is an essential component of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre, providing round-the-clock medical and nursing care to patients who require admission for diagnosis, treatment, or recovery under close supervision.

ICU

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides specialized, round-the-clock care for critically ill patients who require continuous monitoring, advanced life support, and specialized medical intervention.

Operation Theatre

The Operation Theatre (OT) Department is one of the most critical and specialized areas of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre, dedicated to performing surgical procedures under sterile and controlled conditions. It plays a central role in delivering safe and effective surgical care across various medical specialties.

Blood Bank

The Blood Bank plays a crucial role in supporting clinical services by ensuring the availability, safety, and proper management of blood and blood components for patients in need of transfusion.

Laboratory

The Laboratory Department of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre is a vital diagnostic service unit that supports clinicians in the accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases.

Radiology

The Radiology Department serves as a key diagnostic and support service, providing a wide range of imaging and interventional procedures essential for accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.

CT Scan

The CT Scan Department is a key component of the Radiology and Imaging Services, providing high-resolution cross-sectional imaging for accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and disease monitoring.

Ultrasound

The Ultrasound Department is an integral part of the Diagnostic Imaging Services, providing non-invasive, safe, and accurate imaging for the assessment of various medical and surgical conditions.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy Department of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, effective, and rational use of medicines across all areas of patient care.

Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy Department of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre is dedicated to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or functional limitations resulting from illness, injury, or surgery.

School of Nursing and Midwifery

The Murshid Hospital’s School of Nursing is among the nursing schools registered at Pakistan Nursing Council. Through its carefully chosen faculty members, it is setting high standards for providing quality education to its students. It is believed that these students will not only have a rewarding career but will make a difference in society with their profession that respects human dignity, supports a healthy living environment, prevents the spread of illnesses and diseases and will bring change in initiatives through literacy. Also, there is a facility of the hostel provided to the female students coming from different areas of Pakistan.

How we contribute

Patients Welfare Association (PWA)

Endeavours to provide easy access to medical services and assistance to underprivileged irrespective of religion or class.

Blood Collection

Blood is collected through camps to reach more donors. On average, 170 bags collected and approx. 250 tested every month.

Awareness Sessions

Murshid organizes seminars and awareness sessions for doctors, students, and the public at hospital and during free camps.
