Hospitalization
In-Patient Facilities

The Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre offers comprehensive in-patient facilities designed to accommodate both elective and emergency admissions. The hospital has 18 in-patient units with an approximate capacity of 200 beds, including 20 critical care beds in the NICU and ICU, and 5 isolation ward beds.
Specialized high dependency units are available across medical, surgical, paediatrics, and gynaecology specialties, providing close observation for patients in need. The hospital also offers ventilator support. Other accommodation options include general wards for both males and females, semi-private, and private wings.
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology wards have about 24 beds, while the paediatric wards currently have a capacity of 20 beds. Our purpose-built labour room suites are equipped with specialized electronic delivery beds, CTG (Cardiotocography) machines, and televisions to create a comfortable environment for women in labour.
All in-patients are admitted through either the Emergency department or the Outpatient Department (OPD). Each service unit is supported by a nursing station with a computer connected to a centralized information system, facilitating easy access to patient records and efficient service management.
Murshid Hospital is committed to delivering the highest level of care through the collaborative efforts of qualified consultants, trained nurses, and paramedic staff.
