24 Hours Accident & Emergency

The Accident and Emergency section of Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre operates round the clock, 365 days a year. Experienced doctors and nurses are always available to handle emergency situations and provide medical aid at all hours.

Ambulance Service

Currently, the hospital does not provide on-call ambulance service for picking patients up from their homes. However, ambulance service is available for transferring patients between Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre and other hospitals, with a fee charged for this service. The hospital plans to introduce on-call ambulance services in the future to meet the 24-hour emergency needs of patients.

Surgical Facilities

The Accident and Emergency department is equipped to perform minor surgical procedures required in emergencies. Patients arriving after accidents can receive immediate surgical care such as stopping bleeding, wound treatment, stitches, and minor surgeries like finger or toenail removal.

Diagnostic Services

Murshid Hospital provides essential diagnostic facilities in the Accident & Emergency section. ECG tests are available 24 hours to diagnose heart-related issues including heart attacks. Radiology and other necessary laboratory tests are also performed round the clock for emergency patients.
