These services enable physicians and surgeons to make prompt and precise medical decisions.

Ultrasound

The Ultrasound Department operates round the clock, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging through rigorous quality checks. Our ultrasound services include all types of standard and Doppler ultrasound scans, as well as ultrasound-guided procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Every month, thousands of X-rays and ultrasound scans are performed at Murshid Hospital, highlighting our commitment to serving the community’s diagnostic needs effectively.

Future plans include the addition of a new X-ray unit equipped with an image intensifier, a CR system for digital X-ray processing, and facilities for advanced imaging such as CT Scan and MRI.

Quality Control

Maintaining strict quality control is essential to ensure the credibility of all diagnostic imaging. Murshid Hospital adheres to rigorous radiation protection regulations, and our practices are regularly inspected and licensed by the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) to guarantee patient safety and accurate results.

Educational Programmes

The Radiology Department proudly offers a one-year Residency Training Programme recognized by the Medical Faculty of Sindh. Each year, four to five residents complete this program and go on to establish successful careers in radiology both within Pakistan and internationally.
